Fire Prevention Week Kicks Off As Scheduled

Due to the weather forecast slated for this weekend, the annual Fire Truck Parade scheduled to take place along State Street and the Capitol Square tomorrow (Sunday, October 7) is canceled.

Each year, the Madison Fire Department and other fire departments from around Dane County convene in downtown Madison to kick off Fire Prevention Week with this family-friendly event.

Although this year's parade is canceled, the MFD will still commemorate Fire Prevention Week on its blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
