“We have extended the hours for the yard waste sites in response to many requests from Madison residents,” Mayor Dave Cieslewicz said. “We hope that these new hours will help people who need to have access to the sites on week day evenings.”

The yard waste site hours were reduced in the 2006 Operating Budget to help hold down property taxes. The Streets Division was able to find some additional funds in its seasonal hiring budget to fund the site hour extension.

The City of Madison yard waste drop off sites are located at 4602 Sycamore Av. on the east side, 1501 W. Badger Rd. on the south side and 402 South Point Rd. on the west side.
