Reger Park Playground Replacement and Lighting- Contract: 2018 Playground Replacements Group 2
Last Updated: 03/26/2019
The playground at Reger Park was replaced in the fall of 2018.
Parks held the first of two neighborhood meetings on November 20, 2017, to discuss playground equipment age range, surfacing, proposed project location, timeframe and budget. The second meeting was held on January 22, 2018. Park neighbors were asked to review three potential equipment options for the park. Based on meeting attendee comments, a fourth, revised design was developed for final review by the neighborhood. Materials from both meetings and the final equipment design can be found in the links below.

In addition to the playground replacement Parks improved the area lighting in the park. The existing single light was removed and replaced with two new poles and fixtures. The new lights are LED targeted lighting and provide more complete lighting of the entire park without trespassing onto neighboring properties.
