Boards, Commissions, and Committee Meetings
Note: This is not a complete list of meetings for this upcoming week. All meetings and their details can be found on the Meeting Schedule page.
- Common Council: The Common Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in hybrid format. Agenda items include removing the paid parking pilot.
- Transportation Commission: The Transportation Commission meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in virtual format. Agenda items include expanding a safety education program.
- Board of Park Commissioners: The Board of Park Commissioners meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. in virtual format. Agenda items include allowing the Urban Canid Project to continue.

- Overdose Recognition and Response: A Toolkit for Overdose Prevention and Post-Care, Wednesday, December 11, 2024: Join us for an engaging and free virtual training on how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose.
- Mobile Vaccination Clinic: Hmong Institute, Friday, December 13, 2024: We are hosting mobile vaccination clinics throughout the county in partnership with community organizations!
- Homebuyer Education Workshop, Saturday, December 14, 2024: Take the first step to owning a home and join us in this Home Buyer Education Workshop. This FREE Homebuyer Education workshop takes place in person at the Atrium Villager Mall (2300 S Park St, Madison, WI) on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
- Holiday Fantasy in Lights at Olin Park - Sunday, December 8, 2024, through Tuesday, December 31, 2024: Lighted holiday-themed displays set in beautiful Olin Park. Drive through anytime from Dusk until Dawn to enjoy this magical light show for free, brought to you by The Electric Group.
