Update: Hilldale Owners Renew Post Office Lease and Plan Roof Replacement

Dear District 11 Residents, 

Earlier this year, the U.S. Postal Service sent a postcard to area residents announcing a proposed relocation of the Post Office currently at 601 Sawyer Terrace, sparking concern about losing our long-standing, walkable post office branch. With the holiday season upon us, I reached out to WS Development, the owner of Hilldale Shopping Mall, where the Post Office is located. I was informed this week that "no reports of them leaving are accurate." WS Development emphasized their positive partnership with the Post Office, adding, "We have renewed their lease for the next three years and will be replacing their roof."
