Community Vigils Tonight, New Resource Webpage, and Latest Press Briefing on the School Shooting

- A vigil in honor of the victims of the Abundant Life Christian School shooting will be held at 6:00 pm on at the Vel Phillips Statue on the Wisconsin State Capitol grounds near the corner of S. Carroll and W. Main streets.
- Casa de Fe in Monona (901 Femrite Dr.) will hold a prayer service at 6:00 pm.
- City Church in Madison (4909 E. Buckeye Rd.) will hold a prayer service from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

The Madison Police Department (MPD) is investigating the shooting at Abundant Life Christian School. This remains an active and ongoing investigation. MPD will release more information as it is available. MPD is working to authenticate documents and information that led to this tragedy. We encourage the public to refrain from spreading false information. All victims are entitled to privacy.
