Lincoln Avenue Communities is proposing to build 50 units of affordable housing with approximately 41 covered parking stalls and 33 surface parking stalls at 1838 Commercial Avenue, just east of the Hartmeyer Ice Arena. The project will include a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, a fitness center, management office, indoor and outdoor community space for residents, and office space for a non-profit community service organization. The project, which will require a rezoning to Regional Mixed Use (RMX), represents the third and final phase of Lincoln Avenue Communities’ redevelopment of the former Hartmeyer property.

A neighborhood meeting to hear more about this proposal is scheduled for 6pm on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Kavanaugh’s Esquire Club, 1025 N. Sherman Avenue. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.
