District 19 Items of Interest

Water Main Flushing: The Madison Water Utility will be flushing water mains in Wexford Village this coming week.

Deceptive Ad: Some residents in District 19 have received a deceptive mailer. A resident provided the following photo:

This is NOT from the Madison Streets Division or from Dane County. For city collection, residents can fill out the form at the Streets website (www.cityofmadison.com/LargeItemWorkOrder) and fill out the form.  Set the items out on the date they pick. And City crews will come by during the work week following the set out Sunday they choose. Aside from the carve out within the new large item rules that allows for brief temporary storage for large buildings the City does not serve, items set on the terrace are only for Streets to collect unless the City contracts out with a company to collect them.  Madison does not have any private contractors collecting items from the curb for the Streets Division.
