Meetings and Events: Correction and Addition

Correction: The “Boards, Commissions, and Committees” section of the Meeting and Events Highlights included misleading information under the second Common Council meeting. The write-up included a portion that read “as well as limiting the density and proximity of Class A liquor licenses to sensitive sites” when discussing agenda items. However, this item is being recommended to re-refer to the Alcohol License Review Committee on 6/18 and then back to the Common Council on 7/1.

Celebrate Madison Libraries 150th Anniversary: Madison's nine libraries will host celebrations in May. The Alicia Ashman Library at 733 N High Point Rd in District 19 hosts a celebration from 9 to 11 AM on Saturday, May 10. Make art with local artist Deckard Salm using recovered library materials, take a selfie in a photo booth, and make your own button.
