Lane Closures -- Butler, King and Wilson Street Intersection

Starting today, the city's contractor, R.G. Huston Company, will be performing underground utility work within the South Butler Street, King Street, and East Wilson Street intersection. During this phase of work all traffic will be shifted to the south side of East Wilson Street with one lane of traffic in each direction.

Outbound (northbound) South Butler Street and inbound King Street will be closed during this phase.

Inbound vehicles on East Wilson Street detoured from using South Butler Street should follow the posted detour route:

• use East Wilson Street to South Pinckney Street to East Doty Street to South Webster Street to East Main Street.

Inbound vehicles on East Wilson Street detoured from using King Street should follow the posted detour route:

• use East Wilson Street to South Pinckney Street to East Doty Street.

At times, the contractor may close inbound and outbound South Butler Street at the same time. During those times, the contractor will place barricades at the South Butler Street and East Main Street intersection warning vehicles to follow the posted detour of East Main Street to King Street to East Wilson Street.

These closures may be in place for 2-3 weeks as the contractor performs utility work in this area.
