Youth Climate Action Fund Grant
Youth Climate Action Fund Grant Applications Are Open!
What is the Youth Climate Action Fund?
With 84% of young people around the world reporting they are
worried how climate change threatens people and the planet,
Bloomberg Philanthropies launched the Youth Climate Action Fund to
provide funding for 100 mayors to activate young people to design
and implement climate solutions in their cities. The participating
cities (including Madison, Wisconsin!) span 38 countries across 6
continents, representing over 62 million residents.
A committee of young people who live or go to school in Madison will review
grant applications and distribute funding of up to $5,000 per project to
fund youth-led climate initiatives that align with the City of Madison's Climate Resilience Plan.
