City-Funded Neighborhood Centers
The Community Development Division (CDD) provides ongoing financial support to a group of 15 neighborhood centers. This funding helps centers maintain a vibrant space for residents to gather, learn, and build community. Neighborhood centers provide a range of programming to meet community needs. This often includes child and youth programming, employment services, regular community events, food pantry services, older adult services, and more.
The City provides two different types of financial support to this network of neighborhood centers. This includes funding for programming and funding for overhead. Overhead supports administrative staff positions, space, and maintenance. The City is one of many funders for these neighborhood centers.
