A Message from General Manager Justin Stuehrenberg

Hi Team,

I wanted to share with you that I’ll be leaving Metro Transit at the end of May to take on a new opportunity in the private sector.

It’s been an incredible five years. Together, we’ve taken on big challenges—redesigning the network, launching BRT, modernizing our fleet and facilities, and building stronger partnerships across the region. None of it would have been possible without the talent, heart, and dedication each of you brings to this work.

I’m proud of what we’ve built together, and I know Metro is in great hands for whatever comes next. The search for my successor is already underway, and I’ll be working closely with the team to ensure a smooth transition.

Thank you for everything—it’s been an honor to be part of this team.
