Assault on Driver
On March 30, 2025, a Metro operator was assaulted during the regular course of their work.
The incident is under investigation by Metro and MPD.
Metro is working with IBT Local 120 to develop a joint committee to review all physical and non-physical assaults on operators to determine best paths forward to prevent these in the future.
Findings will be shared with all Metro staff.
