Re-Introducing STREET MEETS: a mini video series that discusses ongoing construction projects in Madison.

At the Madison Engineering Division, we make it our goal to improve the daily life of Madison residents. None of that would be possible without our many electricians, plumbers, labor technicians, and maintenance workers. With our new mini video series, Street Meets, you can learn from our project managers about ongoing construction projects that may affect you or your neighborhood, including:

  • The purpose of the project
  • Benefits of redevelopment
  • Duration of the project
  • Hear directly from the project manager leading the construction

Road construction involves the design, building and maintenance of roads, highways, paths, sidewalks, and other transportation infrastructure. The City of Madison is dedicated to taking a proactive approach to road construction, making sure that your streets are safe, functional, and durable.

The Engineering Division works on a multitude of projects to maintain and redevelop the streets of Madison. Different types of projects include:

  • City Facilities
  • Bike & Pedestrian Improvements
  • Flood Mitigation
  • Road Construction
  • Sewer/Storm
  • Watershed Studies

The Engineering Division aims to provide resources for all residents, visitors and customers of Madison affected by projects, and we value and encourage public input.
