The existing public utilities were constructed in the early 1950’s and are reaching the end of their useful life. The existing sanitary sewer main will be replaced with a new 8” PVC pipe and the sanitary laterals will be replaced from the new main to the property line for each house. The existing water main will be replaced with a new 8” ductile iron water main. The storm sewer system will be upgraded with new concrete pipe installed to provide increased capacity and better storm water drainage for the new streets. The street are proposed to be reconstructed with new asphalt pavement and concrete curb & gutter. The street widths are proposed to be; 30 feet wide on Davidson Street, 28 feet wide on Drexel Avenue, 38 feet wide in the 400 block of Lake Edge Blvd and 19 feet wide in each direction in the 300 block of Lake Edge Blvd.
