Project Update
The project was bid out and the contract is currently being circulated for approval by the required agencies. Once this approval is complete, the Contractor will begin work on the project on June 24, 2024.
Project Overview
The project includes the replacement and upsizing of the sanitary sewer main along N. Lake Street from the south side of University Ave going to the north and ending at the new State Street Garage project. The sanitary sewer needs to be upsized from a 15” to a 24” to accommodate new higher flows that will be added to the City from the new development in the area, including directly form the State Street Garage project.
Project Limits
University and N. Lake intersection to 415 N. Lake Street.
Project Schedule
Receive Bids: April 4, 2024
Start Construction: June 24, 2024
End Construction: Aug. 30, 2024

Public Information Meetings
A public information meeting was held July 18, 2023. This project was included as part of the Hawthorn Ct. Assessment District Public Information Meeting.
