Agency Work Planning Workshop

Course Description
As an organizational development best practice, the 32 agencies citywide are learning a standard discipline for work planning. Our collective work planning efforts exist as part of Results Madison.
- Results Madison is a citywide effort designed to support the organization as we work toward results that matter most to Madison’s residents and visitors. It offers a way to connect the services we provide day-to-day with our strategic priorities, and to measure progress on our goals. Results Madison uses data to transparently show progress and deliver services as effectively as possible to meet the needs of the city as it continues to grow and evolve.
In this full day workshop, invited agencies will learn how to maximize the Agency work plan template to manage the top 10 priorities to completion in the upcoming year. Pre-work is required to be submitted in advance to Organizational Development.
- Once agency goals are communicated to staff, agency heads can more effectively direct supervisors and team leaders to work with their staff to develop their own work plans.
