Course Description

In this session, you’ll learn the City of Madison’s approach to creating an Equitable Hiring Plan. We’ll discuss the process from start to finish - including writing a position description, strategies for building a diverse hiring committee, developing interview questions with appropriate benchmarks, and more! We realize interviews can be stressful, but what if we created an environment that was welcoming and inclusive? We’ll focus on an equitable and positive process for both the interviewers and interviewees!
