Course Description

This course provides an overview of the policy and process for drug and alcohol testing at the City of Madison. You will learn about:

  • APM 2-23: Drugs, Controlled Substance, Alcohol & Drug Testing Policy.
    • How to bring the City into compliance with mandated Federal regulations.
  • Impacts of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
    • Your responsibilities as a Supervisor in this process.
  • The Federal Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
    • And our organizational responsibilities related to this program.

All supervisors of CDL holders are required to take this course, but it is beneficial to all supervisors at the City of Madison.
