Models of Disability, Disability Culture, and Identity
Upcoming Dates
Course Description
This session is about unpacking ableism and developing a culture of inclusion. We will examine how models of disability show up in language, how we feel about people, and how we interact with others. In this approachable and conversational training, you will learn (and unlearn) different social narratives of disability and how Disabled people have informed their own sense of identity. Join us and expand your access, equity, and inclusion practices.
