The City of Madison has a Pedestrian Resources page full of safety and education information.

Neighborhood Program:

Managed by Traffic Engineering, this group of resources aims to meet the needs each community around the Madison area.

The program includes the City’s new Safe Streets Madison program focused on eliminating serious and fatal crashes and closing gaps in the walking and biking network.

Let's Talk Streets:

The purpose of Let's Talk Streets is to learn from each other about how we design streets for the future in Madison. It's a conversation with YOU that seeks to gather public input to influence several different street-related initiatives while ensuring you know what we mean when we "talk streets" and we learn from you what is important about how you talk streets.

Visit the Let's Talk Streets page for more information about upcoming events and how to get involved!
