Reloadable cards are available at Metro Transit, Madison public libraries, or email mymetrobus@cityofmadison.com to receive one by mail.

Set Up Your Account

1. Visit our Set Up Fast Fare Account page. You'll need an email address.
2. Add Fast Fare cards to your account. Register up to 50 cards.
3. Add funds online using a credit card.
   Would you rather use cash? Convert cash at a BRT station vending machine, sales outlet, or Metro Transit.

How to Add Fast Fare Cards to an Account 

Under the 'Tap and Ride' section, click add a new Travel Token. 

Enter the smart card number, or the 10-digit number at the bottom of the card. IMPORTANT! It is only the first 10-digits - See example below. 

Name your card anything you'd like. This will be helpful if you have multiple cards or riders on your account. 

And you are ready to ride! Do not throw away - these cards are re-usable and reloadable.
