Give Mom & your Family a summer of fun...Goodman Pool Season Pass

Special Saturday morning sale for Goodman Pool Season Passes on May 13, 2006 from 8a.m.-noon. The Madison Parks Division is pleased to announce that the new Goodman Pool season passes are now on sale. The season pass, for adults, youth, senior and family, will be on sale at the Madison Parks Office, 215 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Suite 120. The Parks office is open Monday – Friday, 8a.m.-4:15p.m. Season Passes may be purchased over the phone during work hours. However, It is important to note that every person included on the family passes will need to have their photo take for the pass. People can get their photos taken anytime from when they purchase the season pass to the first day they plan to use the pool. Parks Staff does encourage season pass holder to get their pictures taken early at the Parks Office to help reduce long lines at the Goodman Pool once it opens. To help accommodate working families schedules, the Parks Office will be open Saturday, May 13 from Goodman Pool, Madison’s first public pool, is located at 325 Olin Ave. The pool will open to the public on June 12, 2006. The 1000-person capacity pool features 2 water slides, 8 lane 25-meter lap area with diving boards, and a number of shallow water play features for pre-school aged children. The pool area will be complete with sand play area, concessions, changing rooms, deck chairs, umbrella tables and shade structures. The Season Passes for Goodman Pool will good for daily open swim times: Monday-Friday, 12:30p.m.-4:45p.m., 6:00-8:00p.m., Saturday, 12:30p.m.-8p.m., and Sunday, 12:30p.m.-6p.m. Programs such as swimming lessons are available at an additional cost. Swimming Lessons are taught by Madison School Community Recreation staff. The MSCR catalog listing of courses, times and costs is available on the Madison Parks website.
