Waunona Neighborhood Invited To Talk About Safety Concerns

Captain Joe Balles, of the Madison Police Department's South District, is inviting residents of the Waunona Neighborhood to a community meeting tonight (Monday, December 13th) in order to give residents a chance to talk about safety concerns following last week's home invasion that led to an officer involved shooting. The gathering will be held at the Sheraton Hotel, 702 John Nolen Dr., starting at 6:00 p.m. Residents who are unable to make the meeting, but who are still interested in speaking with police about the crime spree, can contact the South District's Community Policing Team at 266-4830.
