Mayor Confident in Badger Win, Sends UW Apparel to Fort Worth

Mayor Dave Cieslewicz showed his confidence in a Badger victory over the TCU Horned Frogs in the Rose Bowl, sending Fort Worth Mayor Mike Moncrief a Badger hat and jersey today. Mayors Cieslewicz and Moncrief have a friendly wager riding on the game. When the Badgers win, Mayor Moncrief will wear the jersey and hat at the next Fort Worth City Council Meeting. "Since I'm so confident the Badgers will triumph in the Rose Bowl, I know Mayor Moncrief will be needing a Badger hat and jersey in time for his next Council meeting," Mayor Cieslewicz said. "If the Horned Frogs do somehow pull out a victory, well, everybody still looks great in white and red." If TCU wins, Mayor Cieslewicz will wear a TCU hat and jersey at Madison's next City Council meeting.?In addition, if Wisconsin wins, Mayor Moncrief will kick in a pair of Justin boots, produced in Fort Worth. And if TCU wins, Mayor Moncrief will receive one of Wisconsin's premier local products, a Trek Allant in Badger red and white. "Mayor Moncrief will look great in Wisconsin red and white," Cieslewicz said. "Go Badgers!"
