Full Speed Ahead After 50, an exciting day-long event, has delighted patrons over the age of 50 for the past six years! Plan to attend on Thursday, March 17 (wear your green!) from 8 am to 3:30 pm. What's all the fun about? Besides great socializing, try new activities like Zumba and Wii Gaming; or learn about interesting topics such as digital photography and hummingbird gardens. New this year, learn the life-saving technique of "Compression Only CPR," participate in health screenings, gather information at the vendor fair, and relax with a massage in the morning. Enjoy stories from master of ceremonies, a Channel 3 Anchor, and a sit-down lunch with live Celtic music by popular local group Rigel. Attend two workshops of your choice from a selection of more than 20 hands-on activities and classes, and enjoy a delicious smoothie break in the afternoon. The $18 fee covers the entire day of activities at the Monona Terrace! Parking not included. In partnership with: Monona Terrace, St. Mary's Golden Care, and YMCA of Dane County.
