No Refuse, Recycling Or Large Item Collection Wednesday

The Streets Division has cancelled all solid waste and recycling collection for Wednesday February 2nd due to the blizzard which hit Madison overnight. "We urge residents who can wait til their next scheduled collection to do so," Madison recycling coordinator George Dreckmann said. "We are going to make every attempt to collect refuse and recycling from today on Thursday. However, because of the heavy workload associated with the storm we would really appreciate it if people could wait until their next scheduled collection." Madison residents can bring their refuse, recycling and large items to the Streets Division's drop off sites at 1501 W. Badger Rd or 4602 Sycamore Av. The sites are currently open winter hours M-F from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Residents should check in with the office before dropping off material.
