The Madison Arts Commission announces that the Signature Grant Applications and Guidelines are available on the MAC Website. October 17, 2011 is the deadline to apply for the Signature Grant. A Signature Grant is for new work that is in conceptual stages. No portion of the art work has been created, performed, published or exhibited. The grant provides up to $5,000 for artists and non-profit arts organizations for an art and/or cultural activity that is a new, original work. The City of Madison distributes funds to Madison artists and non-profit organizations through the Madison Arts Commission's annual grant programs.
