
Ribbon Cutting for Opening of Pleasant View Road
The City of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Federal Highways Department have worked together to construct a new extension of South Pleasant View Road from Mineral Point Road to Valley View road. The work also includes two new two-lane roundabouts. The project is the result of federal funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. This extension completes the first phase of a multi-year project with Madison, Verona and Dane County to improve the CTH M corridor on Madison's west side. Join Mayor Paul Soglin, Madison Alderman Paul Skidmore, Dane County Supervisor Dianne Hesselbein, University Research Park Director Mark Bugher and other local officials for the grand opening of this roadway extension.
