Gold Wing Motorcycle Parade

The Gold Wing Road Riders Association along with the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau will be holding a motorcycle parade on Saturday July 5th, 2014. The parade will start at Warner Park and end at the Alliant Energy Center. The route will include:
- South on North Sherman Avenue
- Left on Schlimgen Avenue
- Right on Packers Avenue
- Left on First Street
- Right on inbound East Washington Avenue
- Left on Blair Street
- Continue on outbound John Nolen Drive
- Right into Alliant Energy Center—John Nolen Drive entrance
City of Madison Police will close streets along the route from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. to accommodate the parade. Cross-traffic will not be allowed. Motorists are advised to plan for extra travel time during the closures.
