Statement of Madison Mayor Paul Soglin on Wisconsin Supreme Court Upholding Domestic Partnership Registry

Thank goodness for this decision. The domestic partner registry is clearly and unequivocally constitutional. We look forward to the day when same-sex marriage is legal in Wisconsin. Until then the registry provides limited, but important rights and protections to same-sex couples.
