posted

Alders Larry Palm (District 12) and Rebecca Kemble (District 18) are hosting a listening session for Northside residents and others interested in voicing their thoughts and opinions on the future of the Oscar Mayer site. The listening session is scheduled for Wednesday, February 24, 6:30pm at the Warner Park Recreation Center.

"This is a unique opportunity for neighborhood residents to offer their hopes and dreams for the Oscar Mayer site," said Ald. Larry Palm. "We will use community feedback to work with prospective buyers and work towards making what happens here a positive contribution to the Northside and all of Madison."

The 50-acre site is currently listed for sale by Kraft Heinz and the plant will remain open for the next 8-20 months.
