Metro Transit Updates Service on Sunday, August 28

Metro Transit customers are encouraged to double check their trips. Route and schedule updates go into effect on several routes starting Sunday, August 28.
Service updates include extra trips to the Owl Creek neighborhood and additional weekend and holiday service on Route 17.
Updated Ride Guides and System Maps are now available. Customers can also plan their trips at home or on the go using Google Maps.
Service Change Details:
- Route 5: Service removed from Buick St., Fisher St., Bram St., Beld St., and Wingra Dr. (service provided on Route 13).
- Route 13: Service shifted from Badger Rd. to Buick St., Fisher St., Bram St.
- Route 17 Thirty-minute service added all day on weekends and holidays.
- Route 18 (via Midvale) Service shifted from Britta Pkwy to reconstructed W. Beltline Frontage Rd.
- Route 18 (via Hammersley) Service shifted from Raymond Rd. and Chalet Gardens to Hammersley Rd. and Allied Dr.
- Route 19 Service shifted from Verona Rd. to Verona Frontage Rd. to serve Chalet Gardens all day. AM trips travel counterclockwise and PM trips travel clockwise, with the exception of the Allied Dr. loop.
- Route 26 Route standardized to serve UW Health at the American Center and the City View loop all day. No longer serves American Family Headquarters (see Route 25).
- Route 30 Service shifts during peak hours from Swanton to Nakoosa providing 30 minute service to Nakoosa area.
- Route 31 Extra trips added to Owl Creek Neighborhood.
- Route 33 Service shifted to Sharpsburg Dr. and Sprecher Rd.
- Route 36 Serves East Springs loop all day.
- Route 49 Directions reversed. AM service operates counterclockwise, PM service operates clockwise.
- Route 51 Muir Field loop operates counterclockwise. Service shifted from Piping Rock and Brookwood roads to Hammersley Rd.
- Route 55 Trip adjustments.
- Route 56 Service shifted to Waterford Rd. and Manchester Rd.
- Route 57 Service shifted to Waterford Rd. and Manchester Rd.
- Route 72 Trip adjustments.
