Metro Transit detours from the Capitol Square, State St. and University of Wisconsin campus areas starting Friday, October 28 at 6:00 PM due to the Freakfest event.

Capitol Loop Detour - Starts Friday, October 28 at 6:00 PM

• Buses follow the Capitol Loop on Friday, October 28 from 6:00 PM through the end of service. - detour maps

Downtown Detours - All Day Saturday, October 29

• Routes 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 detour from the Capitol Square and State St. throughout the day on Saturday. - detour maps

UW Campus Detours - All Day Saturday, October 29

• Route 80 buses detour from Langdon St. via University Ave., to Park St., to Observatory Dr. throughout the day on Saturday. Route continues to follow Saturday schedules.
• A “Special Events” bus will be running a combined Route 81 and 82 schedule and route in place of regular service. - detour maps and schedule

Buses will operate as fast as conditions allow during the event. Riders are encouraged to plan for possible delays throughout the weekend.
