Community Bash set for Tuesday, September 25, 4 - 6 p.m.
MPower is turning 10 years old and it's time to celebrate a decade of MPower graduates and all of their sustainability accomplishments. The City of Madison and Madison Gas and Electric are excited to team up with Sustain Dane to cohost an evening of fun and reminiscing on Tuesday, September 25th, 4 p.m to 6 p.m., at The Madison Concourse Hotel and Governor's Club.
Sustain Dane's MPower Champions program is a one year, customizable program for businesses and organizations that want to reduce their environmental impact while saving costs and creating a healthier and more engaging workplace and community.
Since 2007, over 100 MPower Green Teams across Dane County have completed over 500 sustainability projects, including alternative transportation, clean energy, sustainable food, green IT, clean water, community engagement, and more. These projects result in 18.9 million kWh saved, 59.2 million lbs. of CO2 avoided, and 1.7 million dollars saved each year.
