FOUND - Missing woman located with help from citizens

Margaret O'Dell a 25-year-old white female who went missing Wednesday night was located by officers just after 5 p.m. Two dog walkers tipped off police that she was at a location near Frances and Langdon St. This is but one example of how the community helps keep each other safe in partnership with the efforts of law enforcement. Madison Police cannot thank the assisting agencies enough for their help on a hot day helping search thick wooded areas and doing prolonged K-9 tracks. Special thanks to Dane County and UW-Madison Lake Rescue and the UW-Madison K-9 units. Also thank you to our media partners and the many persons on social media who shared O'Dell's information to help in her recovery.
