August Moving Days Are Here!

Today, the Streets Division begins the annual August moving days clean-up. The clean-up will continue through at least Monday, August 16, 2021 as the move-out process continues.
Prior to today, a series of press releases was published providing guidance for the Madisonians moving during this time to make the process fast, efficient, and safe.
The releases covered:
- The daily trash and recycling collection schedule for the student move out area that begins today August 2, 2021,
- How to set out large items for them to be collected quickly and safely,
- The correct way to recycle electronics like televisions and computers,
- How residents in the move out area should use the new large item work order system during the move-out, and
- Encouraging movers to donate items rather than sending them to the landfill.
