Our Annual Health & Resource Fair, presented by Elite Hearing Centers, Humana Cress Funeral & Cremation Service is on Tuesday, October 11, 9:00 am until 11:30 am.
FREE health screenings will be provided by Senior Helpers, Elite Hearing Centers, Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library, NewBridge and the ADRC. Health screens include depression & stress, memory, blood pressure, hearing and vision.
There will be 23 local agencies and businesses present who service seniors and deal with issues that matter to older adults. Find information on Medicare, housing, scams, dementia and many more important topics.
This year we will feature two special presentations. The first one titled Stay Warm & Save Energy will be presented by Madison Gas & Electric in both English and Spanish. The second presentation titled Brain & Body Fitness will be presented by graduate students working with the Gilmore-Bykowskyi Lab at the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. This is a great opportunity to learn, collect information and get free health screenings; plus win door prizes and enjoy light refreshments.
