The Police Civilian Oversight Board was notified on October 17 that John Tate II has withdrawn his acceptance of the Independent Monitor position to accept another opportunity. The Board is executing its next steps and will release an update shortly.
The next Police Civilian Oversight Board meeting is scheduled for October 27.
