Event Lane Closures and Traffic Delays – Concerts on the Square

The first Concerts on the Square date is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26th which will bring traffic increases throughout the isthmus and Capitol Square areas. Traffic delays are anticipated, especially on Doty Street and the Outer Loop during the afternoon peak travel hours, due to the Wilson and Doty St reconstruction project closing traffic lanes along Doty Street.

There will be a significant increase in vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians during these events. Be sure to travel carefully through the area. Eastbound traffic passing through the isthmus is encouraged to use John Nolen Dr or Johnson St. Westbound traffic passing through the isthmus is encouraged to use John Nolen Dr or Gorham St.

Concerts on the Square occurs each Wednesday evening starting on June 26th and ending on July 31st.
