Partisan Primary Sample Ballots Available

posted

The Partisan Primary is on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024. You can find a sample ballot for your address at MyVote.wi.gov.

In the Partisan Primary, each political party narrows down its candidates for the November election. You may vote for candidates in only one political party of your choice. Your voter registration is not associated with a political party. Your voted ballot is secret.

  1. Select a party at the top of your ballot.
  2. Make sure you select individual candidates, too.
  3. Only the votes in your party of preference will count. If you mistakenly vote for candidates in other parties, the tabulator will ignore those selections.

If you do not mark a party preference at the top of your ballot and you vote in more than one political party, nothing on your ballot will count.

“It is amazingly easy to vote absentee in Madison,” said Mayor Rhodes-Conway. “You can request an absentee ballot and mail it back or drop it off. There are also a number of libraries where you are able to vote.”

The goal of the City Clerk’s Office is that each eligible voter will be able to cast a ballot and have that ballot counted.
