S Paterson Street Sanitary Sewer Replacement

posted

Project Overview

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29th, work will begin on the sanitary sewer main replacement along S. Paterson St, from E. Washington Ave to Williamson St.  The project is being completed in conjunction with the development at 306 S. Paterson St and 838 Williamson St.  The project is needed to upsize the sanitary sewer to serve the increase in flow from these new developments.  The segment will be closed to through traffic, with local access maintained.

Phase one (dashed line portion on map) will include installation of a large steel casing pipe under the railroad crossing between E. Main St and Williamson St.  Phase two (solid line portion on map) will include the installation of the new sanitary sewer main.  Pavement restoration will occur during both phases to keep the street passable.
