Street Closures - Madison Marathon

The Madison Marathon races will take place Sunday, November 10, starting at 7:00am at the Capitol. Runners will move through the UW Arboretum, Vilas Park, around Lake Monona, and back to the Capitol, with the last runners finishing around 1:30pm. Police officers will be located throughout the course, assisting traffic.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead if traveling near the race route as crossing the route will only be permitted when there are sufficient gaps in the runners.

Start times:

  • Full Marathon and Half Marathon participants will begin at 7:00am
  • 10K participants will begin at 7:15am
