2025 Brush Collection Schedule Now Available
The dates when you should set out brush to the curb for collection is now available.
The information is available on the Streets Division’s brush collection website.
All residents in Madison have five curbside brush collection opportunities.
When should I put out my brush?
The exact dates when you should put out brush for collection can be found at www.cityofmadison.com/BrushCollection.
Once you are on this website, enter your address into the form.
You will see all five of the dates when you should put brush out for pickup.
After I put my brush out, when will you pick it up?
The date listed on the website is the date when you should put out brush on the terrace or right of way space in front of your home. This is not the date when your brush will be picked up.
Collection happens sometime during the work week following the set out Sunday for your neighborhood.
What is “brush”?
Think of brush as branches and sticks.
It’s the woody material you cut from trees, shrubs, and bushes.
Follow the Collection Rules
Brush must measure between 18 inches and 8 feet so crews can collect it safely.
There are brush pile placement rules and other size restrictions, too.
You can find these on the brush collection website.
Drop-off Sites Accept Brush
You can take brush to the Streets Division drop-off sites. Be sure you know when the drop-off sites are open before loading your vehicle.
Drop-off site hours, locations, and restrictions are available at www.cityofmadison.com/DropOffSites.
