Exploration Begins on Garver Option and Olbrich Building Space Needs The City of Madison is scheduled to release a request for qualifications on May 4, 2012 for an architectural firm to work with Olbrich Botanical Gardens to explore ways to meet its current and future building space needs to better accommodate the public. An additional request is being released to investigate the possibility of stabilizing the Garver Feed Mill building core to be used as a garden support and storage facility for Olbrich Gardens and Madison Parks. These requests are the first steps in an exploratory process which will involve assessing needs, meeting sustainability standards, conducting feasibility studies, community input on possible solutions, and ultimately, evaluation of costs and possible funding options.
