Metro Transit Will Delay Closure of Stop on Gorham St. and Livingston St.

Stop Location Under Review

Metro Transit will be updating stops on Gorham street, Schroeder Rd., and other neighborhoods throughout its service area starting Sunday, August 24.

Gorham St.
Stops at the intersections of Brearly and Few streets have been removed. This was done to speed up travel times throughout the area, and to help decrease the occurrence of missed connections at Transfer Points. After the service change, stops will be located every other block on Blount, Patterson and Ingersoll streets.

Metro has delayed its implementation of a stop removal on the corner of Gorham and Livingston streets.

Staff are reviewing issues that have been presented regarding the closure of this stop and will make a decision on this location at a later date.

Customers are invited to weigh in on this and other stop relocations and removals by contacting Metro’s customer service center at (608) 266-4466 or mymetrobus@cityofmadison.com. Information can also be submitted at mymetrobus.com/feedback.
