Metro Transit Detours from Downtown and UW Campus Areas for Freakfest

Multiple Metro Transit routes will detour in the Downtown and UW Campus areas beginning Friday, October 31 at 6:00 PM. Freakfest detours will continue through the end of service on Sunday, November 2.
Friday, October 31
- Capitol Loop Detour: Buses will follow the Weekday Capitol Loop Detour beginning at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 31 (More Info).
Saturday, November 1
- Routes 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 significantly detour all day from the downtown area. During the detour, buses do not serve the north side of the Isthmus, State St. or the Capitol Square (More Info).
- Route 80 detours from the State & Lake St. intersection via University Ave. and Park St. (More Info).
- Routes 81 and 82 will be following a 'combined special event' route & schedule. Detailed route and schedule information is posted online: (More Info).
Sunday, November 2
- Capitol Loop Detour: Buses will follow the Capitol Loop Detour all day Sunday for Freakfest clean-up (More Info).
Due to expected congestion, buses will operate as fast as conditions allow. Please plan ahead for possible delays throughout the weekend.
