posted
New hours begin Feb. 1
The Madison Police Department is changing the hours it will offer fingerprinting services to the public.
Starting in February, this service will only be offered on Wednesdays and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Record Services staff offers fingerprinting for the general public or those applying for professional licenses. These services are located in GR-10 of the City County Building.
This will remain a walk-in service offered on a first-come, first-served basis. It costs $10 per print card. A government-issued ID is needed to request this service.
The Madison Police Department does not fingerprint juveniles.
MPD Records Services provided fingerprinting services 1,552 times in 2022.
