Consider Attending BT Farms 2nd Visioning Workshop THIS Saturday!
posted
BT Farms is developing a regenerative community plan for approximately 220 acres of farm and wetlands land in Madison, WI at the intersection of E. Buckeye and Fankhauser roads. This plan will include land restoration, parks, farmland, housing and other amenities. Inspired by emerging trends of cooperative urban farming, this intentional community will center equity, justice, and intergenerational wealth building, and support Black and Indigenous communities to thrive, as foundational principles.
Join BT Farms project staff and neighbors to envision a future agri-community for Madison! BT Farms will be holding its 2nd community visioning workshop, Saturday July 22nd, 12-3pm, at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. At the first community workshop - held March 4, 2023 - project staff gathered ideas about what community members want to see on the site. Now they're back to talk about some design possibilities based on what was shared. Reserve your ticket for the 2nd workshop, HERE!
